Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) is free with this package.
Cell C prepaid customers who have a BlackBerry smart-phone or purchase a new phone from Cell C will be able to select from among several service plans. Starting at R57.00/Month for BlackBerry Internet Service (prepaid and postpaid) and R114.00/Month for BlackBerry Enterprise Server, customers get unlimited email and Internet browsing, as well as unlimited use of preloaded data applications without incurring any additional data charges.
Tarifica’s Take:
This new tariff introduction by Cell C in South Africa is another example of more advanced services becoming available in countries with relatively low numbers of data and business users. Some years ago, these services were usually priced very high and only premium (business) users could usually have access to them. However, the technological development of phone devices has created a broader potential user base for these services and now the carriers are offering more affordable to acquire these new clients.
