Tarifica’s Take:
Lycamobile also operates in countries such as Belgium, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, and adopts the same strategy in each country. This includes selling airtime in local convenience stores, Online or via a SIM card. The key target market is foreign residents. Another MVNO that is employing a strategy similar to Lycamobile’s is Lebara Mobile, which also operates in several European countries and has the same target market. The chart below shows the tariffs for Lebara for calls made to overseas countries:
| Country |
Cost per minute |
| China | 0.09 |
| France (fixed) | 0.25 |
| India | 0.09 |

As we can see, Lycamobile has entered the Danish market offering exactly the same prices that their competitor Lebara.
