Serbian MNO Vip mobile is offering customers free internet traffic for e-banking and m-banking applications. This feature is available for accounts with Banca Intesa, Hypo, Raiffeisen, Commercial and Société Générale banks. The offer is valid until 30 April 2015.

The growing interest in mobile banking and money transfers worldwide presents major revenue opportunities for mobile operators, involving fees from customers and deals with partner financial institutions. Compared with these, data-use charges associated with the transactions are not very significant. Therefore, handing out free data with which to perform the transactions, as Vip mobile is doing, is a very good, low-impact way to promote such services and increase the number of participants.
